Getty Images reports: The South Bank, which runs alongside the River Thames is one of London's busiest tourist draws with a host of entertainment including London Aquarium, The London Eye, The National Theater and The British Film Institute. Along the waters edge, many 'living statue' street performers, entertainers, and more often than not people simply in fancy dress, compete for a prime spot to set up and have their photograph taken for cash by the passing tourists.
