Men wear high heels to raise awareness of sexual violence against women

With a nod to the saying, "You can't really understand another person's experience until you've walked a mile in their shoes, " men sport high heels in 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes' events to bring attention to sexual violence against women.  According to the Department of Justice's National Crime Victimization Survey, an average of 207,754 cases, or one victim every two minutes, of rape and sexual assault were reported between 2006-2010.
