This perfectly illustrates that common everyday people want the government out of their personal lives. If "Big Pharma" had a brain, they'd press for legalization and develop products they can market. 7 billion dollars a year we throw away on this FAILED war.
John, uh, Uncle Adolf spends alot more fighting the war on drugs then 7 billion. Try 67 billion. And when you add what the states throw in, not to mention losses of tax revenue of recreational marijuana and industrial hemp ( tax revenue, income tax, foreign sales tax, etc.) the losses exceed 12 figures.
LEGALIZE THE STUFF ALREADY! They won't completely legalize it because of all the government jobs that won't even be necessary once it is. Sure there will still be people trying to get hard drugs but that should be easier for them to catch because the majority of people don't want the hard drugs around anyway. FREE COUNTRY as long as you follow every DUMB rule we make! As long as we can make sure you do what we want you to (US Government) YOUR NOT MY DADDY!
it is like moving the mountain.. to change the mind set of this political country to change the laws, they are worried about what "so and so" may think.. such fear.. time it is going to change..
