U.S. forces found and killed the al-Qaida leader in the affluent Pakistani town of Abbottabad, where he had been living in a large compound.
On May 1, 2011 Abbottabad, a small town in the Hazara region of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan, gained world attention when President Barack Obama announced the words, "Justice has been done," indicating the death of Osama bin Laden.
Reuters photographer Akhtar Soomro travelled to Abbottabad a year after the raid on bin Laden's compound to take pictures of the town and document what had happened to the house where bin Laden was killed.
The compound has now been flattened and has found a new lease of life as a cricket pitch, a source of concrete blocks for any villagers with a big enough hammer, and a tourist site where people have their photo taken.

Affluent community that sells vegetables in an outdoor market. Sorry cannot see the concept of upscale.
"Upscale" for THAT area. No, it is not upscale to us here. But the area has running water, flush toilets, etc. Many areas there do not, so for them it is upscale.

What he's saying is if such a market is an example of affluence, what would be there definition of poverty? I don't think redondo98-3116122 was knocking them for the practice, he was just question why the lifestyle being depicted in these photos would be represented as "affluent" in this article.

I personally don't think they would make up a story like that and take a chance of him showing up somewhere. There would be too many people involved to expect everyone to keep that secret. You might be right, but I doubt it.

Affluent means they have electricity, running water, and flush toilets.... Which many in that region do not enjoy. Spent a year in Pakistan with a UAV support unit. 364 days to many!

Abbottabad is a Paki military town which has their staff training college. Also many retired military personnel settle there.
So whatever is shown or written does not reflect the real conditions in Paki hell holes.
Justice will be done only after all Paki Islamic militant areas are flattened to ground.

we need to worry about our own country , and get the hell out of the middle east, if they want to kill us then lets just flatten the whole area with nukes, bring our people back and let that place rot in hell
