Images released by the King County Sheriff's Office in Washington show the mountain bunker of murder suspect Peter Keller. US law enforcement blew the roof off the hideout in Washington state on April 28, and inside reportedly found Keller's body. Keller is suspected of killing his wife and teenage daughter, officials said.

Keller, who had been missing since April 22, when the bodies of Lynnettee Rocha Keller and her daughter Kaylene Keller were discovered at the family home, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Keller, 41, was named a suspect on April 25 in the murder of his wife and daughter, whose bodies were found after neighbors called the authorities when they noticed the home had been set on fire.

Alot different from the "fortress" the media described. Looks like a tool shed to me. Not a whole lot of ammo either, really. About enough for a good little bit of target practice. I love how people are crying on here about guys who buy a couple boxes of ammo. If you find it on sale, get it. It doesn't spoil, and the price will go up. That economics. And to all you "guns cause violence" folks, what about yesterdays story from Los Vegas, Mr. Saggy pants rapes and bludgeons to death a mother and her 10 yr old, puts dad in the hospital, and had already savagely raped a 50 yr old woman. No guns there, just a good old fashioned hammer. Didn't hear one peep out of anybody about that story

Judging from the huge amounts of ammo found in the bunker this was yet another flag-waving, gun nut, 2nd Amendment fanatic that the NRA claimed to be a non-criminal. Fact is, with such a prevalence of guns available in the country all of them lean towards being criminals and usually wind up so.

I will simply say that he was never convicted of killing his wife and child, just suspected. The final determination would have been made in a court of law. He might have been in mourning and not responding to anyone. Was he an odd individual? With building this bunker, I would say yes, but being odd is not illegal. What frightens me is that the police rapidly took the step of blowing up the bunker and killing him when they could just as easily have waited him out. It might have taken a while, but one life might have been saved. This seems to be becoming a trend with our increasingly militarized police. In fact, look at the pictures. Very hard to tell that they are not military commandos operating in a war zone. Look at the number of situations where they basically just take the violent quick way and people end up dead. Probably the best example is Waco, Texas. It might take weeks or months, but there is a good chance people would not be dead. Remember when police officers were also called "Peace Officers"? Now they are called "Law Enforcement Officers". Seems to me to be becoming an "us versus the population" mentality there. I am bothered by this development and think the rest of the population should be also. Remember, he was suspected, not convicted.

Outside of the ammo, the contents of that bunker looks like all the crap I just pitched out of my pole barn a couple weeks ago.

This freak had alot of ammunition, where's the guns? Confiscated by the Feds already, would be my guess? This wasn.t much of a bunker! There isn't even a lock on the raised hatch. This must have been his little boy hide-out? It is certainly no bunker! It wasn't even cammoflaged! Was it all just an ego booster?

Just a little boy-minded nut! That is all this P.O.S. was! Another gun crazy, anti-government lunitic! And a murdering bastard to boot! Good riddence to bad rubbish!

I hope the families of the victoms find some peace! Rest in peace Lynettee, and Kaylene!

I wonder if he considered that they could have used a flame thrower to incinerate

the whole place. Certainly a survivalist would have thought of that.

How could he be insane, when he had the presence of mind to start a fire to cover up his actions? That sounds ike he had every intention of murdering and trying to cover his actions up! If he's insane, so are the rest of us! Nuff said,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That actually wasnt a lot of ammo for someone who spent eight years building a bunker to prepare for the zombie apocolypse, and it didnt look too comfortable, and a wood stove for heat? the cops said they smelled the wood smoke before they found it. This guy was a crazy murdering nutjob who deserved what he got, death by his own hand, ha ha, dumb ass.

I'm quite embarrassed by the state of his so called elaborate bunker system that the news was reporting yesterday. I assumed it was a sustainable living quarters not a set from the Hee Haw television show. Pig stye, I would not stay in unless a tornado was coming.

I believe that all this worry about the end time is silly and foolish. I do believe some day if the economy goes belly up we will have to defend our home and family and we will need guns and ammo. Folks the idea that you can fight the government with all the high tech crap they have is silly and foolish if you want to make it out alive, if you are not concerned about death then you can have a small and short fight and go out in a battle of glory. "We The People" have let the government have to much control over our lives and now there is no way back and those that think you can are silly and foolish. The thing I like about all these people that plan to survive what ever, they are buying and spending and we all are getting the benefits of that ain't it great ha !

They recovered computers with tons of pictures of the bunker. (There are lots of survivalist webforums so I'm betting he was posting his pictures on them). These are probably more pictures from his computer.

They DO give the impression of "now that we've gotten inside, here are pictures from the inside" but as you observe, the pictures do not match the facts of the story.

If obama gets elected again like you want him to be becks prediction is rational and sound. And if conservatives win our country will not fall. If we do win and the country does not fall that will give you extreme left wingers more reason to doubt how close we were to falling off a cliff like ben bernanke warned congress about a few days ago. You cant win against retarded college grads.
