Los Angeles remembers riots 20 years later

This April 29 marks the 20th anniversary of the riots following the acquittal of four Los Angeles Police officers in the videotaped beating of motorist Rodney King, which resulted in 53 deaths and an estimated $1 billion in damage.

The 77th Street division patrol the same neighborhood that truck driver Reginald Denny was nearly beaten to death by a group of black assailants at the intersection of Florence and Normandie Avenues.
