It's always been my experience, (as someone who came out in the late 1980's in a logging-town in Eastern Oregon), that people who harass, maim, an murder gay's can't do it by themselves. Regardless of the build of the "fag" in question, it always takes no less than 4 'straight dudes' to do the job. Same rule applies in rape with foreign object, or whatever other form of stupid they decide to create. Even better, these same 'dudes', (usually some form of Christian), go on to create families and pass down their special brand of hatred to their children. Anyone with some evolution would never retaliate against a child, or teenager for that matter because they are not within the power level of an adult, so the attackers eventually reach their goal of having someone else, (their children), do their dirty work, compounding a twisted form of martyr syndrome they carry with them all their lives. As for justice for the gay person, the local law enforcement is almost always complicit in the crimes. The Republican dogma of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and the meme of 'Maverick' is never practiced by them, but required of a gay person their entire lives.

Couldn't help but notice the Giants hat on the attackers head. I have the utmost respect for that organization but this is a perfect opportunity for Tom Coughlin and then rest of the Giants organization to address the issue of discrimination in our society. After all, the Giants represent NYC which has one of the largest gay populations in the United States. Just saying...

Wearing plaid shirt and mismatched plaid shorts should have gotten some punishment!@!!!

Two of the attackers are wearing gloves and air masks (also possibly a mask on the one who is jumping, but it's difficult to tell for sure) and one has what looks like pepper spray in his hand. Clearly, a planned and pre-meditated attack. I hope these A-holes get the book thrown at them. Isn't there some enhancement to assault and battery for "lying in wait"?

Coming to a gay neighborhood near you? I don't think the US gay community knows how close things like this are here. A minister calls for our death? Other preachers say similar things? Terroristic threats, yes, but encouraging violence. There's enough of a backlash going now in the US that such pictures of similar actions here are likely to show up. These guys were out to kill this poor man. "It gets better?" Uh, well, no, it can change direction in a heart beat....or a beat down.
