Speaking to at an Air Force graduation ceremony, President says. "We can say with confidence and pride: The United States is stronger, safer and more respected in the world." Watch the entire speech.

Hey Mr. President, please do us a favor next time and take a freakin helicopter across town to the AF graduation. It's unbelievable that we had to shut half the city down all morning for your motorcade. Talk about an elitist, arrogant prick. Romney has nothing on Obama.
talk about an ignorant post! Shut up. When Bush I came thru our little town after Hugo in 1989, the entire main street was blocked off by secret service and yes, it seriously hosed up getting around. It's a security measure for pity sake.

Nice, someone who keeps voting for elitist leaders is tired of them behaving elitist. Go figure..
This isn't a little town. We have Air Force and army bases all over the place with more than sufficient resources for air transportation. There is no need to drive around in a motorcade. Bush Jr, Bush Sr, Clinton, and Reagan all flew to the AF graduation because it takes place on an AIR FORCE BASE. Obama just likes to strut around to be noticed. Many people here noticed and weren't too happy about it.
jeez, you must really hate the man. The president has nothing to say about his security measures at that level.
And to the graduates - congraduations and thanks for serving our country!
It has nothing to do with whether I like him or not. I didn't care much for the Bushes or Clinton either, but at least they understood that you can't shut down a city of 700,000 people to do a little parade show.
Needless to say Obama has a fundraiser in Denver tonight and is trying to be seen and heard as much as possible. That's the part that pisses me off. It's all about the money and pride in himself. All the working people were forced to wait around in their cars and watch so his ego could be fluffed up a bit. And to think that a motorcade is the most secure means of travel is absurd. His security team probably begged him to travel by helicopter instead.

Bleeding heart liberals are just as bad as bleeding heart conservatives, they both spew non-sensical words of hate.
More high salaried gov't trough feeders for the Pentagon corporate war complex? Apparently so.
Congrats grads- and thank you for your service to our country!
More respected? not by Europe, Russia, Mideast, Mexico. Stronger? no we're cutting back on military . Mr. President, if you feel you can lie and be believed you need to speak to some high school dropouts, everyone else knows the truth.
They fight for us, all of us.
Let's hope these brave men and women won't be sent to fight yet another pointless war, we've had too many. Since they fight for us, we have to fight the government from using them to protect corporate interests.
Obama was there just for show and a vote prospect!.
Congratulations to the Air Force Academy Class of 2012! It was a beautifully moving ceremony, and I thank you all for your service. God Bless the USA.
Thankfully, he didn't have to use the term "Corpsman" again.
