for an Olympian, sporting enthusiast and potential mentor to young kids. Has she not learned the proper gun safety rules. Always point the "business end" of the gun AWAY FROM YOU. for pete sake she is leaning her chin on a malfunctioning gun. Who cares if she knows there is no bullet in it or not. Photos teach more than words
Thank you for pointing that out congrats5. It is hard to call her an Olympian if she doesn't understand gun safety. And how exactly does one become an Olympian in this sport if you don't now which end of the gun to point away from you. Makes me wonder if she entered because someone said "hey you want to be in the Olympics" and she responded "what's that!" Sorry, but this article reeks of how to create a worthless headline to bring attention to the Olympics. Now if she was competing in the Hurdles, Pole Vaulting, or Long Jump that would make the NEWS.
Is it really a gun she is leaning on? I see some kind of pole, not a gun... If it is a gun than yes it is wrong but with the photo shown here you really can't tell if it is a gun or not...
