Every year, St. Anthony, who was born is Lisbon, is celebrated in Portugal with parades, street parties, traditional dancing, fireworks and sardines. The saint was known for being a supporter of the poor, but also for talking to fish in the Italian town of Rimini.  His name is also invoked by women in search of good husbands.
