People walk along a beach in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins, western France, next to the Chinese Huang Yong Ping's work, "Serpent d'ocean" (Ocean snake), one of the nine works of the art event "Estuaire" (estuary of the Loire river). "Estuaire" and "Le voyage a Nantes" (A journey to Nantes), two contemporary art events, the first along the estuary, the second in forty stages which runs along 8.5 km in Nantes' streets, take place from June 15 to August 19.

France, the center, especially Paris of the Western Civilization's culture. Art is limited by language, it is closer to environmental harmony with materials, mental imagery creatively, more creatively than or as a crystallization of the best of humanity from all over the world. After seeing 30 or so museums for a month of living in Paris, the world is well represented there and the contemporary current creative thought in Paris or France is well rooted in the world's culture and identities. * Pluralistic harmony in material culture * Every culture and race and historical period is there with equal respect.
I need to believe this as my experience was real evidence of the truth of it, but my hope for America to mature into a harmonic plurality of creative energy instead of the class based plutocracy and racist materialism and dehumanization of Hispanics, Asians, to Native Americans that the GOP is so proud of as their social cultural norms. Gota have ideals that go beyond the FOX-FIXED news and Mudock's to Koch Bros'. mentality that infect Tea Baggers and Right wing fascists...
Thanks for the images and generating memories of hope for a better America.
This is about creativity- ones'expression of art, many shapes. La Maison dans la Loire is from Inception. French can be very creative including counterfitting money- they finally caught the master counterfitter in the village ofSeine-et-Marne whose counterfitted 20-and 50-euronotes (totalling over 9 million euros). NMCasey-go to NYC and you'll see art too from different movements. Art is never limited by any language- books can.
I like The Boat and The House in Water, didn't warm much to The Bears.
