Papuan tribal warriors armed with bows and arrows and improvised shields move into position as clashes erupted anew between two tribes in Kwamki Lama village in Mimikaa, a district located in Indonesia's restive Papua province, on June 18, 2012.

Agence France Presse reports — Two tribesmen were killed, one critically injured and several policemen injured while three police vehicles were torched as tribal clashes erupted in Indonesia's restive Papua province on Monday.

Police and military troops were overwhelmed by the fighting, which was sparked by the death of a tribesman in a road accident in early June.

What? Bows and arrows? Are they joking? Let's ship these poor, deprived savages to Chicago where they can begin killing each other in earnest, with real, Chicago-gang automatic weapons! On second thought, let's ship Chicago-gangs to these guys and start a bow and arrow gang war there....and then the rest of us can enjoy the city of Chicago for a change.

When I see pictures of these tribesmen dressed in 21st clothing, and their policeman in 21st riot gear and these mental midgets are shooting arrows at each other, tells me let them go at it, we surely want fewer of them procreating more mental midgets.

If it wasn't so serious, it's almost reminiscent of the Old Wild West with old time bows and arrows against the new assault weapons! You have to admire the tenacity of these Papuan warriors who think that they can actually prevail, but you never know these days!

Judging by these comments, it's very clear that the American view-point is extremely narrow. C'mon people, you sound like a broken record. Very disappointing. World travel is the best remedy for ethnocentrism. Y'all should try it sometime.

We are all so very disappointed that our comments here have caused you so much discomfort that you felt the need to break your silence from atop Mount Olympus! How's the view from up there anyway?

It's only a matter of time before they all have AK47s. It's not a tribal thing. It said "Independence Activist" killed. Ho Hum!!!

I sometimes wonder if war would at least be difficult, different, or maybe even more rare in these modern times (with how individualized we all are now) if men had to kill men with their bare hands - no exceptions. I guess, at least, they'd really have to piss you off more at the "others" in boot camp to make you that insane. Being so used to modern weapons makes it (lightly said) "easier" to kill another human.

Why are they even reporting this? Everyone knows, no one in America, or the Western World cares about these black skinned people. America, Europe, Britain are not about to go over there and save any black lives.

Hell, the only reason America is in Somalia is to kill black skinned al-qaeda, not to help any Ethnic Somalis.
