This story brought tears to my eyes. After 10 years, the events of that horrific Tuesday morning are still fresh and still raw. We must never let future generations forget 9/11.
You are so right, kscems911!! We must never forget that horrifying day, painful as it is. And we must educate our young people coming up, about just what happened that day.
Pueblo Colorado-Several weeks ago the N.Y.F.D. sent our city a steel beam from tower-1. It was taken to a military memorial and is a memorial for all to see. It was a very emotional time for the whole city when the beam arrived. It weighed over 5-hundred pounds and brought tears to eyes for many.
Lest we not forget !
Do we REALLY know what happen that day...or are we sure the Goverment is telling us the truth? YES a very SAD day for all involved, but still alot of un-answered questions. God Bless everyone that was involved that day...and I hope this don't give another op to do it again...
I'd say we should have left the space MTY..but them money is everything in this Country so it had to be done...God Bless and if you gonna work there, pay extra for a bottom floor room...its a long way down when it comes down again.
A Towering Achievement! with MORE to come!
Not only did I live thru 9/11, but I have gotten to watch what a bunch of animals destroyed turn back into a beautiful part of our skyline again. Every day, I get to watch another beam go up or another window get installed reminding us of how resilient we are as New Yorkers and that our spirit can never truly be broken. May God Bless all the souls that went to be with him on 9/11 and may they know that they will never, ever in this lifetime be forgotten. May God also look down on all the men and women who every day, thru wind, rain, snow, cold and heat made it happen.
Oh boy, that is going to be absolutely beautiful!
I've been so slow with the news. I had no idea they were even building these! I'm glad that we are finally moving on and making something bad, positive. I mean have any of you seen what other countries say about 9/11? Horrible! I bless the families who had to go through something so terrible and i hope this makes them very happy to know their loved ones will be remembered.
I can never watch footage of the towers coming down I cry to think of all the innocent people who Died. But remembering them means they didn't die in vain.Blessings to all those who lost famly and friends.
Building looks nice. I hope the politicians signing the beam acknowledge the bulk of this structural project was fabricated in Canada. DFM the steel contractor is based in Canada. Thousands of steel fabricators have lost their jobs in the US over the past years due to NAFTA. Thanks Washington
