Jewish settlers on Tuesday began moving out of apartment blocs that Israel's Supreme Court ruled had been built illegally on Palestinian-owned land, after reaching an agreement with the government to go quietly.

Sixteen of the 30 families in the contested Ulpana neighborhood of the Beit El settlement were due to leave their homes on Tuesday, and the rest by the end of the week.

The court had ruled that five Ulpana apartment blocs must be torn down by July 1, landing Netanyahu, whose core constituency is pro-settlement, in a political and legal minefield.

Families evicted from the Ulpana neighborhood move into temporarily housing in the nearby settlement of Beit El on June 26. This is the first day of the evacuation, during which 33 families will be moved several hundred yards to a temporary settlement located inside a military zone.

"Voluntarily evacuate???" The Israel Supreme Court said the settlement was illegal and had to go. The last photo caption says "evicted". Where is the "voluntarily" part of the story? Because they agreed to "go quietly"?

How would you feel if Mexico or Canada crossed borders and seized American land to establish a real estate development to be governed by their homeland laws?

Such is the movement of Israel to slap the face of the Palestinians every time they establish an enclave outside of the borders of Israel.

Thousands of years ago, vermin infested, bronze-age nomads said a powerful god told them it was their land and they could kill everyone not from their tribe to have and keep this land. Killing women and children was not just allowed, but that god, the ignorant nomads said, ordered the genocide.

Not exactly a good excuse for Israeli bad behavior today, you think? But hey, since Jehovah deserted them, they have Christian America to back them up! If this were not so pitiful it would be funny.

When a mightier nation who does not believe in the PSYCHOLOGICAL EXTORTION OF GOD, who gave them he right to KILL, MURDER, STEAL THE LAND AS THEY SEE FIT, takes over by being powerful enough to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH . All human life did not perish during the great flood, Noah and his clan did not repopulate the worl, Chinese are not descendants of Noah. The apartheid state of South Africa is no longer but but now we see what is a semblance of another ??? The stealing of land ,murdering of land owners all in the name of some all mighty GOD , by the way DOG is the reverse of GOD . The State of Palestine according to the Montevideo Treaty that define what is a STATE and accepted as legal definition of a STATE in the UNITED NATION did exist prior to the establishment of the state of ISRAEL . Since the world powers did not give ISRAEL ALL OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE 60/40 Palestine still remain a viable state according to all Internal Treaties. Palestine is pre Biblical time.

When I see how jews are treated, my heart bleeds. Israel belongs to the jews for thousands of years, it was bought with money by our fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The palestinians have illegally settled in the lands of the jews and now claim it's theirs. It reminds me of tenants that settled in your apartment, they wont pay rent, sue you, harrass you...and the whole world sympatise with them...Is that justice? Everybody hates the landlord, and the land lord in this very case is the Jews of Israel. Shame on the world to have these innocent families withdraw from their HOMES!!! this is an outrage!

For those who doubt... justice and the truth will prevail! Israel will prevail!
