The Chap Olympiad describes itself as “a celebration of eccentricity and athletic ineptitude with the emphasis on panache and style over sporting prowess.” Guests and participants are encouraged to wear period dress, and the events are said to separate the chaps from the cads-- the winners receiving bronze, silver and gold cravats. Competition events include the Martini Knockout Relay, Cucumber Sandwich Discus and Moustache Wrestling.
