Does anyone know if this hit Ladakh hard too? Perhaps their elevation mitigated flooding there? :/

Mother Nature will do what she wants to do, and the Human race, with all of our technological abilities, will not be able to stop her. Maybe a delay here or there, but stop her, no way.

some people will stop at nothing to make a political statement. Try this on for size, political opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one but no one wants to listen to it. So has it always been, so shall it always be.
