Yikes! Testing the gavel at the Republican National Convention

TODAY's Matt Lauer talks to RNC Chairman Reince Priebus about the implications of Tropical Storm Isaac for the Republican National Convention and whether or not the condensed schedule puts the Romney campaign at a disadvantage.

NBC's Chuck Todd reports from Tampa, Fla., where delays at the Republican National Convention due to Tropical Storm Isaac are set to disrupt the lead-up to Mitt Romney's acceptance of the Republican nomination for president.

Due to the tropical storm, the convention schedule is being revised. Today at 2pm ET, they will officially begin, but then will immediately recess until Tuesday. Most of the events will now take place over three days instead of four.
