Republicans gather in Tampa, Florida to officially nominate Mitt Romney and his running mate, Paul Ryan, as the party's candidates for the 2012 presidential election.

The elephant, a symbol of the Republican party, is another popular accessory at the Republican National Convention. Attendees could be spotted with the animal on their heads, feet, backs and lapels.

Wisconsin is known best for cheese, and the Senator did not disappoint in his hole filled speech. Sinning by omission is just as bad as lying outright. Fudge must be a staple at their house. At least Mitt seems sincere, even if he's befuddled by the common man's world he's trying to relate to. Senator Ryan just causes the skin to creep, with his vice principal demeanor.

'Think Majority'?? Why not just write KKK. Or down with minorities ... hey why not go back to slavery. All natural progressions of that thought.

If nothing else, just stereotype and play the race card. Or blame Bush. So weak. That's why the democrats are going to lose it all.

Yes, lets blame Obama. He inherits a country in shables after 8 years of an incompetent GOP president and then the GOP has the audacity to complain that Obama isn't cleaning up the mess they they created fast enough!

And don't let's overlook the biggest elephant in the room - no, not Chris Christie! - I mean the candidate's so far unmentionable Mormonism.

Does anyone else get the image of the elephant in the room? Of even the 500 pound gorilla. No matter how adroitly you move you are going to get squashed.

Anyone else get the feeling of the elephant in the room? No matter how adroitly you move, it will squash you.
