Northern lights set night ablaze after massive sun storm

Are we seeing an unusual amount of violent activity in the sun? Or is it just getting more attention than usual?

      Meteorologists says it is just a cycle of active that is normal.

      I have only seen the Northern Lights one time when I was younger and they were a vivid red in the sky. I can still see them in my mind.
