"Anti-tax?" Did you actually SEND a correspondent there? Have you even READ minimally about the issues behind this massive demonstration? This was not a demonstration related to taxes: it was the culmination of Spanish policies of cultural, political, social, and economic abuse of Catalonia for centuries. You should be ashamed of yourselves for not doing research on this before publishing. Shame, shame, shame. Catalans have HAD it with Spain. They were demonstrating IN FAVOR OF INDEPENDENCE from Spain. You may have gleaned a clue from all those large banners that read "CATALONIA: Next European State:"
