Reuters reports - Protesters clashed with police in Spain's capital on Tuesday as the government prepared a new round of unpopular austerity measures for the 2013 budget to be announced on Thursday.
Thousands gathered in Neptune plaza, a few meters from El Prado museum in central Madrid, where they formed a human chain around parliament, surrounded by barricades, police trucks and more than 1,500 police in riot gear. Full story…

If the example of Europe doesent get Americans motivated to start getting our deficits under control then nothing will. Rich or poor all will suffer if this problem isnt solved, short term pain vers a complete collapse of our country is the choice and so far our leaders have chosen collapse.
Our leaders have chosen to submit to international, corrupt financial cartels who have an agenda to rule the world.
Neither major political pary has a plan to avoid this. Sorry repubs, even Ryan's budget proposal doesn't come close to making the necessary cuts. Gary Johnson is the only candidate on the ballot in most states that has a plan to avoid this.
Over and over again, this is the result of unchecked government growth, yet both parties continue the status quo.

In the image fourth down from the top you have incorrectly identified what is happening in that photo--which is a travesty. The shop owner is not shouting at demonstrators, is not fearing rocks thrown at his shop or whatever false narrative your biased image caption suggests. He is pleading with armored riot police to leave the protestors, who are seeking refuge in his store, alone. Furthermore, following this picture, he was himself arrested and beaten for standing up to overzealous, violent, anti-democracy thugs. And you have reported it incorrectly, therefore supporting the overzealous, violent, anti-democracy message these thugs were sent to deliver by overzealous, violent, anti-democracy, abusers of state power. Please fix this error and make a public apology.
