Occupy DC marks one year anniversary

A member of Occupy DC smokes a cigarette after a march to mark the first anniversary of the movement at McPherson Square in Washington, D.C., Oct. 1, 2012. Tens of Occupiers returned to the nation’s capital to kick off a week of events for the anniversary.

Oh give it a break with "reporting" on this pack of sad losers already! If you love them so much at photoblog crawl into their tents and give them a reacharound.

I have been intrigued with the Occupy Movement from the very beginning and am happy to see they have endured. It's not the congregation in public places that impresses me most, though it is impressive that they can garner large and devoted crowds. It's the idea of espousing the real meaning of "freedom" and "revolution" that should be an inspiration to all of the 99%, and particularly the besmirched 47%. I feel a kinship with them that tugs at my heart, and I'm not poor, uneducated, or unemployed. I wonder what the original, REAL tea party people who stood up against English rule looked like in comparison to the "average" person. I wonder what the tide of revolutionary forces looked like as well. These are the people of our country's past that made America what it is today. We may not like what they smoke or the clothing they wear, but they are Americans none-the-less. Congratulations on their one-year anniversary!!

No, it's burning too evenly. Usually, the burn is a bit longer, and where's the runners? Every one I smoked had runners that you had to put spit on to slow it down.

          That's what I've heard, anyway.
