Bengali Hindus prepare for Durga Puja festival

Artisans carry faces made of polystyrene to a platform being built for the Durga Puja festival in Agartala, capital of India's northeastern state of Tripura, Oct. 14. The Durga Puja festival will be celebrated from October 20 to 24, and it is the biggest religious event for Bengali Hindus. Hindus believe that the goddess Durga symbolizes power and the triumph of good over evil.
