Evelyn Krug looks over the smoldering remains of her home in Bucyrus, N.D., on Oct. 18, 2012. Krug, 74, and her husband, Mike, raised their children in the home on the west side of Bucyrus. In the background is Krug's car that was completely burned where it was parked in the fast moving fire.
Evelyn Krug looked over the smoldering remains of her home of nearly 45 years on Thursday, the day after the tiny town of Bucyrus in southwestern North Dakota was all but destroyed by a wind-fueled wildfire.
No one was injured in the fire that swept through Bucyrus late Wednesday, displacing all 27 of its residents, but the rural town is "pretty much completely lost," Adams County State's Attorney Aaron Roseland said. Read the full story.

may God bless you with a full recovery i wish i had something to send you and yours but anyone that can please in the name of GOD do so please
My heart goes out to those people who lost everything. Thank God no one was killed.
Thank God that the most important thing !! You didn't loose a loved one. The house and its content are only material items they can be replaced Life can't . I went through a major flood when I was a teenager with my family we didn't loose any family nor pets that all that mattered. We walked away with just the clothing on our back and no insurance we were only poor renters . So dust off your shoulders and move forward, This also shall pass and make you a stronger person.
I feel so badly for those who've lost so much, and will deal with the heartache for a long time. I really hope all will recover and be able to continue. How sad that God (if you are a believer) has seen fit to destroy your lives in this way. Thanking him for not killing you or family members while gleefully destroying everything else is like thanking your abuser for not killing you, this time.
As a believer I believe God doesn't give us more than we can handle and any tragedy makes us better people, if we trust in Him. Thats the kicker without trust in God when faced with adversity people become bitter. No one is promised an easy life but by believing and trusting in God we can make it through hard times
It will heal .
It's good to know that no one was hurt or killed in this tragic fire. These are hearty individuals and they will rebound without a whimper. Unlike the victims of Katrina. Maybe if they asked Obamamamama they too could get a few BILLION to replace their home just like folks in New Orleans. It worked out with the total given to New Orleans all the homes could be replaced EACH for about $500,000 each. NOT!! Good luck to all 27 families.|
That was a stupid thing to say.
