If people cleared out thier houses of valuables a week before they storm hit (because we had plenty of warning) They wouldn't have to worry about looters now. Get a uhaul fill it up, drive upstate and put it in storage. People are so cheap and stupid, then want to cry about why they have nothing

I think it's awful that a veterinarian would go around shooting looters! That's why there are such things as vigilantes.

Andrea Mitchell criticized Romney for holding a disaster relief drive where they collected food, water and clothes. She said it was a useless political event because the Red Cross only needed blood and money. Now we see people begging for food and clothes on Staten Island and blasting the RC for not being there with supplies. Will MSNBC apologize?????

I am truely sorry for the people of NY/NJ. I just left a FEMA post in NJ. I am a truck driver that brought up a full load of MRE's. I would still be there helping to move trailers around to all the places were supplies are despertly needed, but since I am not a UNION driver, me and hundreds of other drivers had to bobtail back from where we had dropped our trailers. I but my job on hold to help the great people of NY/NJ. who had their lives totaly destroyed by Sandy. I drove all the way from FT.WORTH,TX pulling a FEMA trailer. Hence, I had to bobtail over 1600 miles back to pick up my trailer. I fell devasted that the only reason that I am others like me could not help was due to the UNIONs. This is not the time or place to squabble over rights to work, but to come together and work together to help the people. I can't believe that FEMA and the current administration would allow such a thing to happen. What gives the UNION the power to tell our government and the people of NY/NJ that they are in control of all the work that needs to be done?
