In the final push in the 2012 presidential election, candidates Mitt Romney and Barack Obama make their last appeals to voters.

Discuss this post

Down here in Florida, the voter suppression efforts have done nothing but make the voters angry and more determined to cast their votes! In my Republican county, voting stations are plenty and lines are shorter. Just 4 miles over which is a Democratic county, you cannot find a voting station for miles and lines are much longer but they are still voting.

I hope our country is smart enough to put the right people in charge of our recovery. The current House Republicans need to be kicked out for not trying to work with Obama.

I hope they work well for ALL of us -- stop being a divider of the country! as far as republicans not working with Democrats -- did the dems try to work with the repubs - NO. Harry Reid wouldn't even bring the budget to the floor and he's already said if Mitt is elected he wont work with him. But I'm sure you guys will have a spin for that as well. It's time to Unite the country instead of the past 4 yrs of dividing, negativity, and of course FOUR murdered Americans. BO you still need to answer for Benghazi and it is NOT going away!

Vote to keep out the extreme right wing republican party. they only care about the rich and not the middle class. The not vote for the republican party that caused our country to go into a near depression. President Obama cleaned up their mess and the country is heading in the right direction.

That suggests that people who vote for the President are only doing so based on color. Not very nice. Very shallow and simplistic.

Fred from Texas1 yeah, I have the same question if you don't like NBC why do you troll here! I give any amount of money that the trolls are getting paid. Since they hijacked CNN and CNN is now leaning right, they lost half their viewership. TRUST ME MSNBC these are characters have multiple emails, and multiple names. Have they no shame they are already trying to suppress the vote. To all you trolls out there, there is not even enough kleenex for ya tomorrow. I bet on Nate Silver and calculus any day!

I saw a young man drive up as I was going to vote, today.
He waited for a much older woman to drive up and get out
of her car, before he got out of his car and followed her
in, to vote. She showed him how to vote and stood over
him as he marked his ballot, then she ushered him to the
voting machine and directed him to feed his ballot into
        the vote counter.

At first, I wondered if he was Old enough to vote, then I
wondered if he was getting Paid to vote. Now, I'm
wondering just how much Streisand, Clooney, Coombs,
Jordan and Winfrey, et al, are willing to Pay to win this
election; and how far they are willing to Go to win this
election? I hear Obama's team is Very confident of the
outcome, and I'm beginning to understand why.

I just got back from voting at St. Francis Church in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Even though I'm a registered voter, my name wasn't there so they gave me an affidavit to fill out and vote, which I did. After voting, I was shocked when I went to give the poll worker the sealed envelope with my vote and she simply put it on a chair beside her. I asked, where is my vote going? She said that all votes would be out of there by 9 PM. I couldn't believe it. So I said: And my vote is going to be just there sitting on that chair until then? She said: Yeah, don't worry about it. How not to worry about it? How can a vote be exposed like that? There was no registered evidence of the affidavit envelopes with votes inside, so if someone decides to get rid of some of the envelopes, there is no way of anyone ever finding out. On the outside of the affidavit envelope, one of the questions I had to answer was about my party and I very proudly wrote: Democratic. Earlier I heard the poll worker mention she was a Republican. Oh well... How can I be 100% sure that my vote will make its way for counting? What is this? 19th century voting? I have had a relationship with this country since the 1970s, and I finally became an American citizen last year, inspired by the desire to vote for Barack Obama. And now this? Is this how the citizen's vote is treated? Left sitting on a folding chair without any security? Where are the election inspectors? How can such a thing be allowed? I think one of the things President Obama has to do is to rethink elections in this country. I am indeed outraged. I walked out of the church wondering if my vote will ever be there, to be counted among the votes that will keep Obama where he should be, in the White House for four more years.

Funny how NBC isn't talking about all the rampant voter fraud happening today. There have been numerous reports from multiple states of such activities. Several states are reporting incidents in which people select who they want to vote for and the electronic machine selects a different candidate. This is not tin foil hat conspiracy crap people, this is actually happening. Don't believe me? Check out this YouTube video:

        www. youtube .com /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=QdpGd74DrBM

The whole process this time around has had more fraud and suppression than I've ever seen in my adult life. Of course NBC never reported on how a great number of Ron Paul delegates were refused entry into the RNC. Those who did make it were suppressed. How about the incident at the RNC where Mr. Boehner asked for a verbal vote on something? It didn't matter what the outcome was, the whole thing was scripted. Just check out this video of the actual teleprompter from the RNC:

This whole election is a sham. Both of these candidates are in the pockets of big corporations. Neither one of these turds is fit to run this country. This country was founded on the idea that ANY American citizen could run for president but now only those with money and connections have any chance of winning. News sites like NBC and FOX are in the pockets of these same corporations and as such don't report on the real issues like today's epidemic of voter fraud.

(I had to add a space between www. and youtube and .com in order to post the links on NBC, the best option would be to copy and paste the link in your web browser and remove those spaces)
