Yea, now if they stop using 2 different currencies, they will be alright! But most get paid by the PESO, which is 1/24 of the CUC (CUC is about the the same value of the $) The CUC was introduced mostly to deal with tourists. Unfortunately 80% of Cubans work for the State and get paid with the PESO.
