Two sides exchange deadly airstrikes, rocket attacks.
NBC News -- The head of the militant wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement and seven others were killed as Israel launched a series of airstrikes in Gaza Wednesday, officials said.
Hamas spokesman Fauazy Brehom told NBC News that Ahmed Jabari was killed in the attack by Israeli forces. Jabari was the most senior commander of Hamas' military wing, the Ezzidine Al-Qassam Brigades.
A statement from the Al-Qassam Brigades said that Israel had “opened the gates of hell.”
In a frequently updated live blog chronicling the attacks, the Israel Defense Forces claimed it had targeted "dozens" of Hamas’ medium-range underground rocket launch sites and other weapons storage facilities. The report said Israel had also intercepted 17 rockets fired from Gaza.
"If I were a senior Hamas activist - I would look for a place to hide," IDF spokesman Brgi. Gen. Yoav (Poly) Moredechai said in a statement published online.

where are the pictures of the israeli civilians who were killed? you can go onto any social network site and see a picture of a bloody israeli baby. perhaps you should post that so people see what israelis deal with. if hamas doesnt want their people killed, then dont fire rockets at israel.
Sometimes warfare and fighting back is necessary.The evil in war or attacking ones enemies comes from targeting the innocent.For it has no compassion, no caring or mercy, but seeks the destruction of all that is good. The more it can take down collaterally, the better. It doesn't matter who gets caught up.That is why those who fight against it must be the ones who care who get gets involved in the destruction. To stop caring and practice evil in warfare is to ultimately lose the war.For it makes monsters of those who engage in it.Regardless of their original intent.
The Hamas have set themselves up so as to ensure anyone who tries to fight back risks harming innocent victims. Like a snake among a garden, hoping to strike and kill innocent lives while ensuring its own safety.But the times have changed.Technology has changed and a more sure way has been found to remove the snake, cut off its head. A reckoning is coming they best had prepare for.

They don't show pictures of Israeli casualties or damage unless it's a suicide bomber, they want us to think the rockets coming out of Gaza are like toy model rockets.
Look at the picture of HAMAS firing a rocket toward israel, they hide these in civilian areas because they know israel may not bomb a civilian area. Its like shooting a rocket from the middle of Brooklyn. How can these people support an organization that puts all they ever worked for in jeopardy by launching a missle in their backyard. Cowards and idiots.
