And yet another example of politics gone wrong.Maybe War is the only way to settle this disagreement.It would seem that both sides are neither afraid of war or trying to avoid it.Just like a couple of big kids on the block with eternal grudges.
This is not "war". There is no "deadly conflict". The two sides are not on equal footing. One has a full-on army and nuclear arms while the other has firecrackers that the western media loves to call MISSILES and ROCKETS. Gaza is trying to shake off an illegal occupying force. And please dont tell me they are not under occupation. There is an illegal naval, land, economic blockage of the Gaza strip. What do you think all these floatillas are trying to accomplish?
Mainstream media is trying to trick the world into thinking the poor israelis are living under a shower of deadly rockets and missiles. This is false. Go look at what real devastation looks like. Look at the aftermath of Cast Lead. The pictures above made me laugh. This is on the front page of World News on Google news.

Yep, evertyone knows Hamas is a reasonable peace loving group that would never cut off anyone's head or use suicide bombers to kill innocent women and children.

Penguin you have some nerve. I have immediate family in Israel and my husband is Israeli. His family had to flee their homes to another city to stay safe. How dare you make such comments. Israel has the right to self defense. What would you do if our govt didn't do anything to protect its people from harm? How would you like it if you had to endure a rain of rockets in your hometown? Would you be so smug then? Or would you call them FIRE CRACKERS?
Don't listen to mainstream media if you think they're lying. Listen to the people.
