President Barack Obama jokingly mimics U.S. Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney's 'not impressed' expression while greeting members of the 2012 U.S. Olympic gymnastics teams in the Oval Office, Nov. 15, at the White House in Washington, D.C. Maroney's expression became an internet sensation when during the ceremony for her 2012 Olympic vault silver medal she was photographed giving a brief look of disappointment with her lips pursed to the side. Steve Penny, USA Gymnastics President, and Savannah Vinsant laugh at left.

Neither is Mitt Romney impressed by the White House....what a relief..that Mitt did n't win..otherwise Mitt has to move into a smaller house (the White House)..
so the election result is a win-win....American people win...and Mitt also wins..he gets to stay in his bigger house.
Democrats won.Ok so when are you going to stop gloating and start trying to work together? Is it that you just like stirring the pot?(which would make you as bad as the Republicans.)You can say whatever you want but, until you actually start doing something constructive you are part of the problem.I am a moderate and i am darn tired of seeing both parties fight like little kids and honestly your remarks are not helping.Maybe it's true that the republicans have Rush but the Dems have you.
Well said Wolf!!
Blah, blah, blah, blah......
The President is such a family man and ... with 2 teenage daughters ... certainly knows how to make the White House a welcoming place for MaKayla.
Looks like the President is trying to squeeze out a tax cut that did not agree with his mooching donors.
He can relate to her, cool.
Who gives a rats a$$ what this child thinks?
Everyone thinks the same about you, Wizard!
Maybe if more people spent more time worrying about what 'children' think and less about what moneymen think we would be better off, both as a society and economically.
Obama, the why he is still president, and the republicans are spoiled milk, the children are our future.
I agree,
she seems like she is very spoiled!
Love our prez!! What a massive relief that we voted in the (real) human. Thanks, fellow voters. You're getting smarter - recent elections had me extremely worried about the state of the INTELLIGENCE of the country.
I'm still worried... how can so many people be so blind?
Not that blind - they saw through the lies, hyperbole and plain BS and elected the man who was better suited for the job.
Nice to see a Prez who isn't afraid to be silly once in a while. On other websites I've seen plenty of negative comments from conservatives about this photo. Wish they had a sense of humor. More than enough things to be serious about.
a self-assured man. He is not afraid to be silly. Eat your hearts out, wingnuts!!!
This is so cute. Love it. SHows a dad who's used to dealing with a 'tween and teen daughter.
Oh, too cute!
A president is also a living, breathing man and Barack Obama knows this to be true!
A breath of fresh air! Thanks for being real, Mr. President!
Mr. President, so cute & dignified , I love it.
Absolutely delightful photo. McKayla made the face because she go a silver. Mr. Prez took the Gold!!!
What a wonderful man - and young lady. We're a lucky country!
Oh wow,
another photo Op for obama. That takes care of everything.
And people wonder why we have no jobs......LMAO
Blah, blah, blah.........
Mr. Parent,
It is apparent you have no sense of humor! What a shame! Are you one of those blind-sided white males who just got clobbered in this past election because you do not yet know the demographics of this country have changed? Get it? All those minorities you thought did not matter have now joind together to become a "colorful" quilt of humanity. A president who can joke with a teen and not lose his dignity is a father, a son, a husband and a human being. GET OVER IT!
this was a fair comment until all the racist comments ruined it.
Race was the underlying principle of this entire election. Where have you been?
This guy has class. I cannot imagine how they can try to demonize him. He isn't perfect but he is real and he has a good heart. It's about time people got behind him.
two thumbs up!
Love you Mr. President!
You can say that for me, too!!!!
Let's face it. The "expression" looks cute on Maroney and scary on Obama.
Blah, blah, blah, blah...
Maybe he will put on a hoodie and be really scary for ya!
This is why sooooooooo many people in this country voted for this MAN! He is the REAL DEAL! Not just a fine President, but an open, honest, sincere Father, Leader, and Fellow Countryman!
You go, Mr. Pres.!!!!
I just don't get it.
Obama wins, and instead of being truly happy that their guy won, they continue to talk about Romney.
Good fun pic. Well in Mr. President and McKayla Maroney. Who says that an Olympic Athlete can't have a little fun during a WH visit and share it with the rest of us?
Her attitude at the Olympics ceremony was disgraceful. I hope that 20 years from now she will be embarassed by this picture.
Anyone who doesn't like this picture is a genuine fuddy-duddy.
She is a teenage girl, most of them have not yet learnt to be phony (thank God). If you have ever been around one, making face would be the least of your problems. Lighten up, wouldn't you.
well done America! you have chosen a true leader!
When the libbies finally stop stroking each other over this stupid picture, maybe they can actually go out and try to get a job.
They don't want a job, that's why they voted for him. Maybe Obama and Clinton can stop playing with the little girls and do something to fix our country.
How cute! Half the world is burning, our economy is in shambles and teetering down a fiscal cliff, people are losing jobs, yet Obama finds time to clown around.
If emperor Nero was around today maybe he could have joined in too with his fiddle
