Just looking at these pics makes me freak out. I definitely have a fear of heights. Yeah, it's a great view, but you won't find me up there. I prefer to keep my feet on solid ground. However, I do enjoy flying.

Right there with you, Tom. I was just thinking, "what a beautiful view! You can KEEP it!" That is one job (of many) I just could never do because of my fear of heights.

And, I think you will agree with me, it's not so much the height, or even the fall, it's that sudden stop at the end!

I would have enjoyed a career as a 'helicopter lineman' that you see on those youtube videos where they are all clad in their 'faraday cage' suit and sitting on the side of a helicopter and they climb from the helo onto the wires and shimmy their ways to the towers to make repairs. The work doesn't look that hard - it's just the height element that's tough...but I heard one guy say, 'after you get used to it, it's like anything else.' Plus you have all the safety measures in place. And the pay is crazy awesome!
