Exiled Tibetans in Kathmandu, Nepal, participated in a candle light vigil Wednesday to show solidarity with fellow Tibetans who have self-immolated as a protest against Chinese rule. Earlier in the day, a monk doused himself with gasoline in a Kathmandu restaurant at Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's holiest Buddhist shrines, and set himself on fire, marking the 100th self-immolation attempt since 2009.

I hope they were more careful with the candles this time..
It's hard to believe that the world allows China to take Tibet, try to destroy their culture, force hundreds of thousands of Chinese people to move into Tibet to destabilize the nation and no one seems to care. Don't we care about these Tibetans, did we not learn from our not to distant past when we destroyed our own Indian Nations by taking their lands and forcing them to drop their cultural traditions. The world lines up to buy Chinese goods while they destroy the environment with their dams, wipe out Africa's Rhino and Elephant populations with their incessant demand for ivory and horns (for what?) They are doing their best to destroy Tibet and everything that Tibetans stand for. It's so sad that the only thing they can do to draw attention to their plight is to burn themselves up. It's an abomination china how can you people look yourselves in the mirror at night?

China is out to destroy everything in the world, they are a bunch of freakin morons with their scumbag ways in killing animals and resources to extinction with out a thought of the horrid ramifications!
