Syrians inspect destruction following an apparent surface-to-surface missile strike on the northern Syrian city of Aleppo on Feb. 19. Reuters -- A Syrian army rocket attack on a rebel-held district in the city of Aleppo killed at least 20 people and another 25 were missing, opposition activists said on Tuesday.
The missile was identified from its remains as a Scud-type rocket that government forces have increasingly used in areas under opposition control in the province of Aleppo and in the province of Deir a-Zor to the east, they said.
"The rocket brought down three adjacent buildings in Jabal Badro district. The bodies are being dug up gradually. Some, including children, have died in hospitals," Mohammad Nour said by phone from Aleppo. He said testimony from survivors indicated that 25 people were still under the rubble.

But if they live up to their rhetoric and attack Israel after taking power, imagine what hell would break loose. Assad realizes that a direct war with Israel will eventually lead to a Syrian loss, which is why Syria and Iran use proxies. But the jihadis want a straight fight with Israel, now imagine Syria, a country already war torn and most of its military and security facilities lost or at least diminished going to war with a well armed militant state. Israel will crush the jihadis and push goodness knows how far, and who knows how thier nieghbors or the Islamic, or even the world as a whole will react. It will become utter chaos.

SallyANN, maybe you are correct but it isn't Islam it is human nature. You don't think Americans especially the military don't want to fight and live in the glory of the battle field. Human history is nothing but fighting and killing. I say let them do whatever they want just when an American gets killed then we go in and mop up both sides like we should always do in a Foreign Civil War.
It is sad to see Syria being torn to pieces the way it is. Genocide is never fun to watch or hear about. The Syrian people are suffering great losses. It is going to take years for Syria to recover from their civil war. The scud missiles used on the provinces of Aleppo andf Deir a-Zor have done great damage to those areas. I feel sorry for the Syrian people who have been injured, killed, or suffered from their war.
