A man carries infant Rateb Malis, who survived what activists say was an airstrike by forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad in the Duma neighborhood of Damascus on Jan. 7.

A gripping photo out of Damascus last week showed a rescuer lifting a baby from the rubble of an alleged airstrike by forces loyal to President Bashar Assad. In a rare bit of good news out of Syria, an image shot Monday by the same Reuters photographer, Bassam Khabieh, gives us a glimpse of the lucky baby back with his family, including his sisters. Maria, at right in above image, was also rescued from the rubble.
