A woman walks past a new example of 'art' by self-styled guerilla artist Banksy on Pollard Street on November 1 in London, England.

It used to be when someone spray-painted graffiti on your property, you broke out a paint roller to cover it up. But now you might be better off hiring an art appraiser. Recent works of art by the British graffiti artist known as Banksy have sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars to celebrities like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Londons Tower Hamlets Council recently said that they had a duty to remove all graffiti in the area including anything done by Banksy. The public in Bristol recently voted over 90 percent in favor of keeping a piece of graffiti art by Banksy as it was deemed so popular. When does vandalism transcend to art? Is it just a fad? Does it need clever social commentary? What do you think?

An Afghan boy looks at Dutch soldiers as they arrive to search a house at a village in Baluchi pass in Uruzgan province November 1, 2007.

This photo caught my eye at first glance. I love the one eye of the woman on the left peeking out from her hood.

A child rights activist touches a child worker rescued during raids at a place that employs children to do embroidery work in New Delhi, India on Nov. 1, 2007. Over 70 children were rescued in several raids.

Have you ever asked a store employee where something came from or who made it? Couldnt we mostly solve this problem if we just asked these simple questions and were then willing to alter our buying habits?

This picture taken 18 September 2007 shows a replica of the Eiffel Tower standing in a residential and commercial real-estate development resembling a mini-Paris being built on the outskirts of Hangzhou, in eastern China's Zhejiang province.

I found this picture while searching for images of Paris, and I was surprised to see that this picture came from China.

Do any readers know if this is a hiding technique employed by soldiers?
