    Kevin Ware was taken off the court on a stretcher in the first half of Louisville’s regional final against Duke on Sunday afternoon after suffering the worst injury I’ve ever seen in a sporting event.

    After challenging a three that Tyler Thornton took from the wing, he landed wrong on his right leg and suffered a compound fracture. His shin bone was protruding through his skin.

    Less than two hours after Norfolk State pulled off an NCAA tournament rarity, Lehigh made some history of its own. The Mountain Hawks stunned second-seeded Duke 75-70 Friday night, becoming the sixth 15 seed to win an NCAA tournament game.

    FSU beats Duke in ACC semis, 62-59

    Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton said his team learned something when the Blue Devils mounted their inevitable charge to erase the deficit.

    "I thought we grew up a little bit in that stretch when the game was in doubt," Hamilton said.

    Florida State advanced to only the second ACC tournament championship game in the program's history by beating Duke 62-59 on Saturday. Michael Snaer scored 16 points, including a 3-pointer with 3:27 remaining that gave the Seminoles the lead for good.

    AP reports: Freshman Austin Rivers buried a 3-pointer at the horn to give No. 10 Duke an 85-84 win over No. 5 North Carolina on Wednesday night.

    With the Blue Devils trailing by two, Austin Rivers launched a 3 over 7-footer Tyler Zeller from the right wing. The ball swished through the net, sending Rivers running down the court in celebration while the rest of his teammates gave chase before mobbing him in front of a stunned UNC crowd.

    Florida State ends Duke's home winning streak at 45

    The Associated Press reports: Michael Snaer acknowledged he never felt comfortable playing in one of college basketball's most hostile environments, from the rowdy fans perched on the sideline to the way Duke tried to pressure the Seminoles out of their offense.

    One shot changed everything — and ended Duke's long reign on its famed home court.

    AP reports:

    NEW YORK - Andre Dawkins ensured Mike Krzyzewski didn't have to wait long to make history.

    Dawkins scored 24 points, most on some timely 3-pointers in the first half as No. 6 Duke beat Michigan State 74-69 on Tuesday and made their coach the D-I men's career wins leader. It was the 903rd win of Coach K's career, passing his former coach at Army, Bob Knight. Read the full story here.
