    French farmers destroy Spanish fruit in trade dispute

    Given the famine in Africa, destroying fresh food like this seems . . . tone deaf. There must be something else they could do with it.

     I remember several years ago when U.S. dairy farmers were dumping hundreds of thousands of gallons of milk in reaction to low prices...unbelievable, especially with the number of starving children in the world.
