Seattle beats Green Bay in controversial, confusing end to game

    Ted S. Warren / AP

Officials try to sort out the final play of an NFL football game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks as players and coaches swarm the field on Monday night.

AP reports: The Seattle Seahawks completed an improbable — and controversial — Hail Mary pass on the last play of the game to top the Packers 14-12. Seattle's Golden Tate and Green Bay safety M.D. Jennings both appeared to have the ball thrown by Russell Wilson as they crashed to the turf. The officials called the 24-yard strike a touchdown, and the play stood after video review.

Confusion reigned at the end as both teams left the field after time expired on the play but then had to be called back out for the successful extra-point try. Read the full story.

Green Bay Packers crush Minnesota Vikings 45-7

    Morry Gash / AP

Green Bay Packers' John Kuhn celebrates with fans after catching a touchdown pass during the second half of an NFL football game against the Minnesota Vikings Monday night in Green Bay, Wis.

    AP reports:

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Another night, another four-touchdown performance for Aaron Rodgers — just about what the Green Bay Packers have come to expect from their superstar quarterback.

The real surprise came on the other side of the ball: A defense that finally showed it can take charge of a game.

The Packers (9-0) remain the NFL's lone undefeated team. And if they now can count on a defense to complement their high-octane offense, they just might be unstoppable. Read the full story.

It's hard to believe that the half-time show started out with college marching bands as the performers considering today's spectacles. Where would you rank the Black Eyed Peas' performance among performances of the past? Check out Wikipedia's list of past shows here.

Thank GOd Usher and Slash showed up. Fergie butchered everything. She doesn't even qualify as a back up singer. I was embaraased for her and all them. Just shows to go how talentless the Black Eyed Peas are. The are studio artists, not true performing artists.
