When it comes to college athletic programs and their athletes' scrapes with the law, the Iowa Hawkeyes football program has one heck of a road rash. Former Hawkeyes football players currently have three pending cases in the court system right now. In December alone, two players were arrested on drug charges.
This time around, Hawkeyes' Head Coach Kirk Ferentz found himself testifying in a case against former player Cedric Everson, who allegedly sexually assaulted a female student in 2007.
Everson is fighting the charge, which carries up to 25 years in prison. Read more HERE.
