Madonna to headline Super Bowl XLVI halftime show

A friend recently asked on Facebook which iconic performers she needed to see from our generation before they called it quits, and it generated quite the conversation, although I'm not sure Madonna's name came up in all the chatter. I'll have to remind her to add Madonna to the list, as she put on a great show for my first concert in 6th grade and an even better one the year after my son was born in 2008 at Madison Square Garden . She has done an amazing job of staying relevant for a very long time.
