Oh--but Bo is way too large for the Gingerbread White House!--totally out of proportion, if you look at the front door, for example.

AP reports -- At the first ever White House "kids state dinner," first lady Michelle Obama told America's top junior chefs Monday that the dishes they created are proving that fun eating can be "healthy and tasty at the same time."

"Your recipes truly stood out," she said to an East Room filled with kids who won a nationwide recipe competition. "You came up with dishes that were packed with nutritious, delicious ingredients — dishes that are good for you but more importantly they taste good, too. See? It can happen."

The event was the latest effort in Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move" campaign to combat childhood obesity with more exercise and a better diet.

The highlight of her visit as the lead of the U.S. Olympic delegation will be the Opening Ceremony - a three-hour extravaganza at the Olympic stadium built in a previously run-down area of east London.

Interesting that the "Let's Move" logo on the t-shirt the kid is wearing in the tug of war picture with Obama is an improper depiction of the American Flag.

President Obama greets other spectators at the game on Saturday.

    AP reports:

TOWSON, Md. - Obama, who plays in pick-up games as often as he can, has brought his family to Towson University, just north of Baltimore, to watch Towson play Oregon State on Saturday afternoon.

Michelle Obama's brother, Craig Robinson, is Oregon State's head coach.

The president and first lady are sitting court side on the Beavers' side. Daughters Malia and Sasha are in the first row of bleachers. Also at the game is the president's mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.

Catching an Oregon State game has become a post-Thanksgiving tradition for the Obamas.

Last Thanksgiving, the Beavers came to Washington and beat Howard. The year before that, Oregon State made the trip east and defeated George Washington.
