Pretty young women but they look like ailens from some cash-strapped planet who may have been wearing the same clothes for a week. That's not fashion where I come from.

Romanians celebrate the Chinese New Year

    By Robert Hood

I often enjoy the pictures that result when cultures meet and begin to blend. Photographer Vadim Ghirda did a nice job of capturing some interesting scenes.

NM governor considers Billy the Kid pardon

    By James Cheng

    The AP reports:

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson says he's received a formal petition to pardon legendary gunslinger Billy the Kid, and will make a decision on it before he leaves office at the end of the year.

Richardson has set up a website and e-mail address where the public can weigh in on the issue.

He was a psychopathic murder. Why on earth would anyone with a brain consider pardoning him? He killed people and ruined lives of women and children who lost their husbands, fathers and loved ones. This has to be the stupidest thing I've heard all day.
