It looks like they are at least trying to use non-lethal methods of suppressing the protests. Although Reuters reports that two Yemeni anti-government protesters were killed in separate clashes Monday, including one shot dead in Ibb after plainclothes security men opened fire to halt a protest march, medical sources said.

'Details create the big picture' in Cairo's Tahrir Square

    By Meredith Birkett

Since internet access was restored in Egypt earlier this week, we've been following self-described "Socialist journalist" Hossam el-Hamalawy's blog at http://www.arabawy.org. During the last two days, when news of violence dominated the headlines, he captured details that show an air of cooperation and solidarity that was maintained away from the clashes between opposing protesters and attacks on journalists.

21 years and now they own us. I zoomed in and I think that is a tank behind the banner in this very unique photo. I'd love to know what is written on the banner-sorry I may speak phrog, but don't read Chinese. Those are probably knock off bic lighters being used.
