While surrounded by hundreds of pumpkins, a a group stops to look at the illuminated jack o' lanterns at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, R.I., Oct. 8. Some 5,000 carved pumpkins are on display for this year’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, one of the nation’s largest jack-o’-lantern shows. The event ends Nov. 3.
