    New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and French President Nicolas Sarkozy visited the Statue of Liberty on Thursday, ahead of the 125th anniversary of her dedication next month.

    Rebel-backing world leaders visit Libya

    French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister David Cameron landed in Libya today, announcing their intent to unfreeze billions of dollars in frozen assets and continue NATO strikes against Moammar Gadhafi's few remaining strongholds.
