Pot bust: Willie Nelson's booking photo

    By Elena Grothe

When I look at this recent booking photo of Willie Nelson I hear the chorus of his haunting cover of "Pancho & Lefty" :

All the Federales say, we could've had him any day
We only let him slip away out of kindness I suppose

"Tax it, regulate it and legalize it," Willie told CelebStoner on Sunday.

Right on, Willie. There are much bigger problems.

Willie Nelson plays his guitar as he performs during the 25th anniversary Farm Aid concert in Milwaukee, Wisc., on Oct. 2.

    Fingers on the "Trigger"

Every time I see Willie Nelson's guitar, I am amazed that the instrument is still capable of putting out good sound. It is a Martin N-20 nylon-string acoustic guitar named Trigger after Roy Rogers' horse and was purchased sight-unseen by Nelson in 1969 for $750. He estimates that nearly 100 friends' names are carved into the guitar and he even went so far as to put the guitar into hiding during his tangles with the IRS. The guitar also has its own 24-hour bodyguard.
